In his email message to ATA on July 12, 2023, Charles wrote of his deep concern about the proposed Humidor BESS Project location, stating, "I am sending pictures to help residents see where the proposed site is. The Acton train station is so close to the proposed site I would think SPRR has some concerns. Photos (inset above) taken from Vincent View Rd (1) and Angeles Forest Hwy (2)...," and also commented, "...I feel that the proximity of the facility to the San Andreas fault is a very strong argument against the project."
